Tunezies: Sparking Musical Joy & Wonder for All Ages

Tunezies is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Jesse Palter. With a mission to create and grow a magical world of music that inspires, engages, and educates children and their families, Tunezies combines original songs, a dynamic curriculum, high-energy performances, immersive experiences, and educational fun to ignite a lifelong love of music in hearts of all ages.

Palter is also in the developmental phases of creating a digital series featuring interactive episodes that bring her engaging and educational original material to a broader audience, making music discovery accessible to families everywhere.

With Jesse's extensive background as a musical artist, the songs are not only kid-approved but also crafted to be enjoyable for listeners of all ages. Since its inception, Tunezies has been spreading musical wonder throughout the early music education space and beyond.

"Song In Your Heart"

"Song In Your Heart," the debut album from Tunezies, features Jesse Palter’s proprietary curriculum in a collection of 17 original songs crafted with children and their families in mind. Designed to be enjoyed by all ages, this album is produced by pianist/keyboardist Jon Cowherd and features notable musicians Roland Guerin, Brian Seeger, Herlin Riley, Matt Chamberlain, and Joel Frahm.

Covering a wide range of topics, "Song In Your Heart" introduces music fundamentals with tracks like "Tempo Town," "House On Harmony Hill," "Jazz ABC's," and "Beat Baby." It also addresses developmental stages with songs such as "Diaper Changing Time," "One Cool Kid," and "Littlest Love," as well as capturing children's interests with fun tunes like "Snacks" and "Parachute World." Each song soulfully crafted for growing ears to enjoy and for parents to love playing over and over again.

This project has been supported by a prestigious Jazz Road Creative Residency grant from South Arts. Since 2020, Jesse Palter has been teaching her method of music discovery and exploration, Tunezies, for Burbank Parks and Recreation and various esteemed early childhood centers around Detroit, Los Angeles, and beyond. Drawing from her extensive teaching experience, Palter has tailored these songs to be engaging and educational, reflecting the needs and interests of young learners. Tunezies is making waves in the children's music scene, one song at a time.
