• Tunezies is perfect for little ones aged 0 on up! We believe that the earlier children are exposed to music the better, and science backs that up, so there's no need to wait! Whenever you feel ready, we're here to welcome you and your little one with open arms. Studies suggest that during the first year of life, the brain is rapidly developing and prioritizing neural pathways based on environmental stimuli. This makes the early months an optimal time to introduce music education. Whether your child is a newborn, a toddler, or a school-aged kiddo, our classes are tailored to engage and inspire them on their musical journey.

  • Our classes are designed to be mixed-aged experiences to create a fun and inclusive environment for everyone! Some of our private groups do cater to similar-aged children where we can tailor the curriculum to be more developmentally focused. This allows us to target specific skills and concepts that are appropriate for the age group, ensuring that each child is challenged and engaged at their level.

There are benefits to both mixed-age and similar-aged groups for both children and caregivers. In mixed-age classes, younger children can learn from older ones, while older children can develop empathy and leadership skills. Mixed-age classes are great for siblings. Similar-aged groups can provide a more focused and targeted learning experience, which can be beneficial for certain developmental stages. Ultimately, we strive to create a supportive and enriching environment that meets the needs of all participants, regardless of age.

For caregivers, both mixed-age and similar-aged class settings offer unique advantages. In mixed-age classes, caregivers have the opportunity to interact with a broad group of parents or guardians, fostering a sense of community and support. They can also observe and learn from how other caregivers interact with their children, gaining new insights and perspectives. On the other hand, similar-aged groups can provide a more focused and relatable experience for caregivers, as they can connect more easily with others who are going through similar stages of parenting. This can lead to deeper conversations and connections within the group, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved. Ultimately, whether in a mixed-age or similar-aged class, caregivers benefit from the opportunity to bond with their child through music and movement, while also building relationships with other caregivers in a supportive and welcoming environment.

  • Classes run 45 minutes which is the sweet spot to engage and educate growing ears. To ensure the best results, we kindly encourage our caregivers to reserve socializing for before and after class so they can actively interact with their child during the stimulating 45-minute session. This focused interaction maximizes participation and learning during the class, creating a more enriching experience for everyone involved.

  • We keep it on 100, 100% of the time! Our classes are known for their high energy and interactive nature. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged, so we incorporate movement, instruments, and other props to keep them interested and involved. This approach not only makes learning more fun but also helps children develop their motor skills and coordination. We have a unique approach to music education and exploration. Founder Jesse Palter believes that music is everyone's first and most universal language. She introduces music fundamentals and theory through an original play-based curriculum, making learning fun and engaging for young children. This early exposure lays a strong foundation for future musical learning and appreciation. Jesse has composed a collection of original songs specifically designed to capture the imagination and stimulate the senses of young children. These songs are not only fun to sing and dance to, but also help develop important skills such as language development, socialization, and cognitive development.
